If you have been on a regimen of 325mg of aspirin per day for at least 3 months for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular or cerebrovascular events (and are expected to to use daily aspirin for at least 6 months), are at least 55 years old or between the ages of 18 and 54 and have a history of gastric or duodenal ulcer within the past 5 years, you may be eligible to participate in this study.
- Duration: 6 months
- Number of visits to CKRA: 6
- Medication / vaccine being tested: Combination enteric-coated aspirin and immediate-release omeprazole compared to 325mg enteric-coated aspirin.
- Compensation: Up to $500
